Rules and Class Descriptions

 

NCADC drag racing rules

1) No drinking alcohol during any NCADC drag event. Racers or the work staff....Only after all drag events is done for the day. Period. If a racer or staff member is caught drinking during the event you will be asked to leave, and banned for the rest of the year.

2) All racers must have a DOT full face helmet, with some type of eye protection. (shield, goggles, safety or sun glasses) also racers will have to have some type of boot. (riding, work boot)

3) All racers racing in any class above the stock class must have a tether switch or they will not be allowed to race.

4) All racers running in the pro-mod class and the open class it will be mandatory to wear some type of chest protector (teak vest,) or something that is approved by the drag racing board.

5) No studs or chains are allowed.

6) All final decisions are made by the NCADC board.

7) Racers you can only get a red light twice, a red light counts as a loss

8) Racers once you have two losses in the class you are racing in. You are all done for that class.

9) A machine breaks down. Racers get 5min. To fix it. if it can’t be fixed it counts as a loss....A racer cannot replace the machine with another one for that class....

If the racer has another bike and it is legal to be ran in the other class the broken machine was signed up...he can run it

10) Horseplay will not be tolerated....all racers must stay in first gear....going from pits to staging area, and coming back in the return lane....if you are caught speeding ,you

will be asked to leave....and banned for the rest of the year.....

 

11) PROTESTING All protesters must pay $100 up front to protest against only the two top bikes....Racer being protested against has two options:

     1) can refuse to have a tear down and will be not allowed to race in that class again...

     2) can get torn down. If legal will get the $100 if the racer is cheating they will have to pay $100 fine plus     will not be allowed to race in that class again. The protester will get their $100 back.

 

12) Bore or CC for classes....we will accept up to 2% over bore over the final cc limit of the class...if larger when checked  you will be kicked out of the class....plus you will lose your entry fee.....for that class...that’s final...

RULES FOR EACH CLASS

 

STOCK CLASS:

You must have a stock appearing, stock exhaust, stock air box...you can run the machine without the baffles and with no air box  lid.....no cams, no porting....no efi fuel adjustments......and must run on pump gas up to 93 octane......you can run different tires...pro-wedges, 4snows (no paddles) No wheelie bars

 

Bolt on CLASS:

You must run a stock frame. You can run aftermarket exhaust but has to have silencers. (This will be enforced this year). and be inframe pipes...you can run up to a plus 4 swingarm. you can run open air filters. You can run the efi fuel adjuster, no shift aids, no porting; All atv’s will have to run a full suspension....no struts.  (2 strokes can run aftermarket head). No wheelie bars have to be gas under 100 octane

 

MOD CLASS:

You can run lighten frames or aftermarket frames you can run aftermarket exhaust...you can be ported. No shift aids, aftermarket cylinders are allowed, up to 400cc (2 stroke). you can run efi fuel adjuster, any length swingarm. You can run a wheelie bar....allowed to run any octane race gas. or Alky, no Nos.

 

PRO-MOD CLASS

You can run aftermarket frames, aftermarket cylinders, ported, Open drag pipes, Shift aids, Wheelie bars, and any length swingarms, allowed to run any octane race gas or alky, no NOS

 

OPEN CLASS

Run what you brung.....Aloud to run any octane race fuel, alky, and aloud to run nos. anything goes as long as it approved safe enough to race by the NCADC  staff...
